MOTOR COMPONENTS
Some Dumore customers prefer to assemble a motor using their unique castings. In those cases Dumore Corporation is still there to help with quality motor sub-assemblies and components. The Dumore design team can develop the components to meet your performance demands. Armatures with your specific output shaft configuration, wound fields, permanent magnet fields, brush card assemblies, fans, and other components are produced by our manufacturing team to meet your production or service requirements.

ARMATURES Dumore Corporation winds two and four pole armatures with up to a four-inch stack using 13 to 28 gauge wires. Ten, sixteen, and 24 slot armatures are produced using either the tang or stuff and stake process. Armature diameters range from 1 3/8 inches to 3 inches.

FIELDS Permanent magnet (PM) fields and wound fields for faster applications and AC or DC applications are designed and produced by Dumore Corporation. The Dumore design and manufacturing teams produce fields to your exact specifications or design armature and field sets to meet your performance specifications.

BRUSH CARDS The final internal component of the motor is the brush card. The brush card holds the brushes and the wiring that provides the electrical pathway to power the motor. A brush card completes the set for those who assemble motors using their unique castings. Dumore brush cards are produced with the same insistence on quality and can be purchased separately or as part of an armature and field set.

SOLENOIDS Dumore Corporation produces solenoids (battery contactors) for emergency starting. All Dumore solenoids carry the Factory Mutual listing so you can be certain of their safety and reliability. Dumore solenoids are available in 12 and 24 volts. They are rated for 400 amps rolling current and 800 amps breakaway current.
