Today, Dumore continues to provide creative ideas and high-quality fractional horsepower motor solutions for some of the most unique and demanding environments, from laboratory cleanrooms to high production machine shops, from off-the-road earth-moving equipment to cutting edge design applications. CAPABILITIES Dumore Corporation produces permanent magnet (PM) motors from 2-3/4” to 4” diameter. Wound field motors are produced up to 6” in diameter. Motors are designed and produced as totally enclosed, vented, or fan cooled. Dumore Corporation designs for the lowest thermal rise under normal operating conditions and UL Class H insulation is standard. Many applications require encoders, clutches, and/or brakes and Dumore provides these and other features when appropriate. Harsh environments are not a problem. Dumore capabilities include tough construction and sealing for motor protection in the toughest environments. Dumore machining capabilities facilitate the production of quality drilling and grinding equipment. Since 1913 Dumore Corporation has been a leader in precision tools. DESIGN Using the latest design and testing equipment our design team quickly evaluates the application, develops drawings and preliminary quotations, and prototypes if needed. If testing is required the team then works with you through your testing phase. We make sure everyone understands how the motor is performing and if improvements can be made.
